Meals of Joy Annual Gala

Since 2009, Meals of Joy Founder Larry Cervarich has been on a mission to serve seniors in need across the West Valley by providing them with a hot and ready to eat meal that’s delivered directly to their doorstep.  During the height of the pandemic, meal demand increased exponentially and each month, nearly 700 meals were being served to seniors from Goodyear to Peoria, Avondale to Buckeye and beyond.   By providing our seniors with a healthy and tasty meal that doesn’t require any preparation,  we were able to keep them safe at home. 

And we were just a small part of those that served people in need.  Our first responders across the west valley came to the aid of so many in need during even the most dire of times.  Their contribution and service to others is why we are hosting the 2021 Heroes Among Us Gala. 

Spend an evening among heroes--the local first responders from our own community who protected, served and cared for us during even the darkest days of the pandemic.  These local fire, police and health care workers will be honored at the event.
